 I have an enquiry about  training, can I discuss this with someone without obligation?

Yes, you can contact Insider Training by phone or email to discuss your possible training needs, without obligation.

I am interested in Insider Training, but don’t see exactly what I want on the website. Can trainings be tailor made, based on my particular learning needs?

Yes, call us or email and tell us what it is you are looking for. We have a lot of experience in the mental health field, and in designing courses. We can tailor make a course for you, or advise you on what training package might suit your requirements.

How do I go about booking a training?

You can contact Insider Training by email or phone (see ‘contact us’ for details) to book your training. If you have selected one of the courses on our website, we will go over the programme details to ensure the training meets your learning objectives and discuss any changes that may be necessary ( see below ‘ I want something different’) We will then need to agree dates with you. We normally require 4 weeks notice to deliver training, but arrangements at shorter notice will always be accommodated if possible. We will then confirm costs with you. Once this is done and you are happy with all the arrangements, we will send you a booking form which you will need to sign and return (this can be done via post, or via email if you are able to scan documents). The booking form will also ask you to confirm further details such as the venue, number of delegates expected, preferred start/finish times and what equipment you have available.

How do I pay?

We will send you an invoice for the agreed costs of the training which should be settled within 28 days. You may pay by BACS or by cheque. Payment details will be sent along with your invoice.

What if I have to postpone or cancel the training?

If you need to change the date of your training, please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to rebook another date that is convenient for you. As long as another date is confirmed within a 6 week period, this will not incur any additional costs. However, if you wish to cancel the training, cancellation fees will apply. For further information on cancellation fees, please see our ‘costs’ section on the website.

Do I have to provide training equipment such as laptop and projectors?

If you have them, we’ll use them. Otherwise, we can provide equipment to run our power point presentations.

What about course materials?

All Insider Training courses are supported by a full set of training materials. We will provide these on the day. In addition, all delegates can access the power point presentation following the training. We will discuss your preferred way of arranging this when you are booking the course.

What are typical start and finish times?

Courses normally start at 10.00am and finish at 4.30pm, with short comfort breaks morning and afternoon, and a one hour lunch break. However, times can be adjusted to suit your requirements.

Where do trainings take place?

We will deliver the training in your workplace or chosen venue.

Do travel expenses apply?

Training outside Greater London will incur travel expenses. This will be the price of standard second class rail travel. We will always aim to book travel in advance to keep costs down. Travel expenses will be agreed with you at the time of booking and included in the invoice.
